Amson Saintimé: Four Decades of Musical Mastery and Community Enrichment Amson Saintimé, a musical luminary with a career spanning over four decades, has left an indelible mark on the world of entertainment and music. Hailing from Haiti, his musical journey commenced in childhood when his mother introduced him to music theory, sparking a lifelong passion. At just 11 years old, he embarked on formal music lessons, mastering multiple instruments before settling on the bass guitar at 18. His path led him into the realm of teaching, where he shared his deep musical knowledge. Early teaching experiences paved the way for a remarkable career, during which he performed with various bands and immersed himself in diverse genres, from jazz and swing to gospel, funk, reggae, world music, Afro, and fusion. In 2000, Amson Saintimé immigrated to Canada, finding a musical home in Montreal. Collaborating with an R&B/World music band, he further enriched his musical palette. But it was in 2007, in Edmonton, Alberta, that Amson's enduring impact on the community took root. Embracing the city's rich cultural diversity, he began volunteering with nonprofits and co-founded Arbredevie Canada, dedicated to empowering youth. Amson's unwavering commitment to community engagement led to free music classes and workshops for aspiring artists through the Multicultural Health Brokers Co-op. He supported low-income artists with music arrangement, production, and more, ensuring their creative visions blossomed. Throughout his illustrious career, Amson recorded over 30 albums and starred in 40 video clips, showcasing his versatility. International tours in the USA, Curacao, St-Martin, and San Maarten solidified his status as a global music ambassador. Beyond performing and teaching, Amson is a music producer, arranger, and sound engineer. Proficient in music software and video editing tools, he breathes life into creative visions. Amson's educational journey mirrored his musical exploration. He studied Business Administration Management at CDI College, delving into vocal studies, video production, and sound engineering at Dance Plant Records in Montreal, and mastering jazz, swing, and blues in Saint-Martin, France. Amson's commitment extends to the music community as a bass player and music director for churches and organizations. His music transcends notes, uplifting spirits and fostering unity. Amson Saintimé's story is a testament to music's power, community engagement, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
